Congrats to our MCMS boys soccer team on winning another championship! On Wednesday, March 27, the Bulldogs defeated Upson Lee 3-1 to claim the title for the fourth year in a row. The future looks bright for soccer at Mary Persons! We are proud of you! Go Dogs!

MCMS Track teams rocked the MGMSAL Track and Field 2024 Championship! The girls team took first, and the boys team claimed the runner up spot (by only 1 point)! The coaches are "SO SO PROUD OF OUR KIDS! It was amazing!!!" Congrats to all the athletes and coaches! Go Bulldogs!


Attention, 6th and 7th grade MCMS parents: The 7th and 8th grade ALPHA Application forms are live as of today, Monday, March 25, 2024. This is the first step students MUST complete in requesting ALPHA courses for the next school year. Applications will be accepted until May 3, and notification letters will be sent out on June 14. An email with the link to this application has been sent to all current 6th and 7th grade parents.

The second college tour of the school year will be to Southern Crescent Technical College on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. The trip will take place during school hours leaving the school at 9:00 am and returning by 2:00 pm. The cost per student is $25 and includes eating in the cafe at the college. All permission slips and money are due by Wednesday, March 6. Please contact your child's school counselor at 478-994-6186 for further details and/ or to get a permission slip.

We have two important events tomorrow and want to have a packed house at both! First at 5pm is our MCMS STEM Night at the school - there will be tons of activities and a chance to win some prizes PLUS extra credit in Math or Science for anyone who attends. Immediately following STEM Night, our middle school boys basketball team will be vying for the title in the league championship game against Upson Lee. This game will start at 6pm in the MCMS gym.
