The Board of Education honored three Monroe County Middle School students for their outstanding Natural Resources City Projects.  Kami Brannen, Misty Dupree and Aubrey Steffens (pictured above) all received recognition and certificates at the Board's Tuesday night meeting.



Tuesday night, the Board also honored 8th grader Boss Malcom for his outstanding performance in FFA this year.  Malcom has won 8th grade showmanship awards in 11 different lamb shows across Georgia this year and intermediate showmanship awards in 4 different shows.  That's 15 total wins, all from competing against other 8th graders from around the state. 


The Board of Education also recognized the following Monroe County Middle School staff members for their years of service to Monroe County Schools:
