Our very first Math Milestones Study Hall was a huge success with over 100 students participating! Piloted by 6th grade teacher, Mr. McCullers, this event was designed to be a focused, supportive learning session to strengthen math skills and prepare for the upcoming Math Milestones Assessment. Stations were prepared by the 6th grade math team teachers, and students each got small group practice to review the three units they struggle with the most. One parent messaged that her student got in the car after the session and immediately said: "Mom, I loved study hall. It was so fun, I really felt like I learned a lot and feel so much better about taking the milestones test. I wish we could do this kind of stuff with my other classes." Thanks to the teachers and the students for taking time to strengthen skills and prepare for success. EPIC job!
